Family Day!

At the airport in Guatemala
Home as a family
Brothers meeting there new sister in airport
Mira at the park yesterday
My beautiful baby girl!

I know that there are many different ways to celebrate Gottcha day, but we decided back when we brought Emerson home that we would celebrate the day that we were finally together as a whole family.  Our big guys wanted so badly to be with us in Guatemala when we went to pick up their brother and sister and we thought that it was just a great way to celebrate our being a family- united!
Mira was placed in our arms two years ago on Thursday Feb. 5 and we were finally together as a family on Feb.9.  Two years ago!??!
Mira is such a blessing.  She has grown so quickly already and it is just so fun to watch her with this house full of boys.  I never imagined how different girls were (I know that I am one) but watching one grown and change in front of you after 4 boys is just amazing. I really did not know how different it was going to be.  Mira is a real girly girl.  We have a house full of cars and super heros and she will not touch them.  She loves to dress up,  carry her babies and her purse.  She is always pushing a stroller and telling us to SHHHHH because her babies are sleeping.   The funniest thing for me thought is to watch how much she like to copy and follow me.  We nicknamed her my shadow because she is always one step behind me- if I turn to quickly or make a sudden stop -I will knock her over.  She has even started repeating me (which could be maddening if it were not so funny!) when I call out to the boys- she usually only catches the last word I have said and now everyone gets the giggles from little miss repeat.
We love you Mira!!!!!!!
Hope you had a wonderful day!
