Daraja Children Choir of Africa

The new faces- John, Anthony, and Michael

WOW! What a week we have had.  This week we hosted 3 amazing boys from Africa- Anthony Karanja,  Michael Mwangi, and John Njugura (Check out their web site to see the boys bios) and their chaperone Jackson.  Once again God has revealed to us how important His work is for the fatherless, orphaned and the oppressed.   Our hearts are overwhelmed by our experience with these amazing boys (and their whole choir for that matter).  No- I do not have any grand announcement at this time, but I will say that if any of these boys were available - I would be filling out my paper work tomorrow!  Please pray for these children and all the others out their like them!  We are so truly blessed in this country.  Pray that God will open your eyes to see the pain of those around you and the part that He wants you (and I) to take in healing those hearts with His love.
Our hearts and souls have been changed forever by these beautiful smiles!

Looks like a lot of fun! My cousin had some students from that choir stay at his home for a few days - he said they're great kids. :)
